This intensive session is designed to:

  • Drill deeper into techniques: Master the essential buzzwords and strategies needed to approach each question with precision.
  • Focus on exam specifics: Work through previous exam questions in detail to understand what examiners look for.
  • Practice writing: Engage in focused writing practice to improve speed, clarity, and structure under exam conditions.

Why Now?

This course is perfectly timed just two days before the exam, offering several advantages:

  • Retention of key strategies: Techniques and tips are fresh in your mind as you approach the exam.
  • Simulated experience: By attempting questions similar to the actual exam, you’ll be more confident and familiar with the format.
  • Fine-tune performance: Identify and address weaknesses at the last moment to optimize your approach.
  • Focused preparation for repeat candidates: If you’ve attempted the exam before, this is your opportunity to target key areas that need improvement.

Things to Consider

While the course is intensive, it’s designed as a warm-up for those who are already familiar with the exam structure and content. It requires focus, stamina, and the willingness to refine techniques over a single day of concentrated effort. This session is most beneficial when used as part of a broader preparation strategy and should not replace comprehensive study or practice done beforehand.

Course Structure

The full-day practice warm-up course is designed to provide a highly focused and interactive preparation experience. The structure ensures maximum engagement and personalized feedback:

  • 1.5 Hours of Writing Practice:
    • Participants will work on exam-style questions under timed conditions.
    • The questions are designed to mimic the format and difficulty of the actual exam, ensuring an authentic practice experience.
  • Group Discussions and Individual Critique:
    • The group will be divided into three smaller groups (maximum of 15 participants in total).
    • Each group will work on three unique exam themes with individual questions, allowing the course to cover at least nine different previous exam themes in a single day.
    • After the writing session, we’ll have focused discussions where each group’s answers will be reviewed, providing detailed feedback and embedding the key aspects required to pass the exam.

This structured approach ensures that participants not only refine their writing techniques but also gain valuable insights through peer learning and individualized critique, solidifying their preparation for the exam.
