Limitation of liability and exclusion of warranties
To the extent permitted by law, You agree that your use of the Psych Scene training materials and/or your attendance at the Psych Scene training events is entirely at Your own risk. To the extent permitted by law, We exclude all statutory or implied conditions and warranties and any other liability we may have to You (including liability for indirect or consequential loss) that may arise under statute or at law including without limitation for breach of contract, in tort (including negligence) or under any other cause of action.
To the extent permitted by law, We limit our liability under any condition or warranty which cannot be legally excluded in relation to the supply of goods as follows:
- resupplying the goods; or
- the payment of the costs of having the goods supplied again.
Indemnity
You indemnify Us against liability for any loss, damage or injury to persons or property suffered as a direct or indirect result of use or misuse of any training material(s) by you, your agents and employees.
Psych Scene Live Course Booking Terms & Conditions
The training materials and resources offered in conjunction to a course purchase are for Your personal use only. You are not permitted to share/distribute any provided training materials or resources with/to any other party, or use them for teaching purposes without Psych Scene’s prior, written permission.
You must select your course product carefully, as the registration is definite once submitted. You must confirm your course participation with full payment. In case of inability to attend the course, You must inform Psych Scene about cancellation in writing no later than 30 days prior to the course date. A 50% cancellation fee is retained from the original payment due to access to various pre-course resource benefits from the day of processed registration. A refund processing fee of 5% will be deducted from all refund amounts payable, regardless of the reason for cancellation, to cover for the transaction fees charged by the payment facility. If a cancellation is informed later than 30 days prior to the course, full course fee is forfeited. Alternatively, Psych Scene may at their discretion allow the client to postpone their attendance to the next available course. In this case, a referral fee of $195 is payable.
When making a booking and attending the course, the client acknowledges that Psych Scene has full rights to all aspects of event/webinar organisation according to their preference, including program schedule, webinar platform, venue arrangements, filming, photographing and recording, and possible event sponsors.
Psych Scene reserves the right to cancellation of the event or change of event dates in the case of inadequate number of participants or other circumstances where necessary. It is the organiser’s recommendation that clients ensure that any travel reservations made for the purposes of attending the course come with a full cancellation right or are covered under an appropriate travel insurance in case of need for cancellation.

USER OBLIGATION
If you are seeking to benefit from the Psych Evidence training materials on this website, you must register and subscribe. As part of the registration process, you will be asked to ACCEPT these Terms of Use. On doing so, you will be deemed to have consented to and you will be bound by these Terms of Use.
Visitors to the site merely wishing to view general information do not need to subscribe. However, any use of this site constitutes your acknowledgement and acceptance of these Terms of Use, which takes effect the moment you first use the site.
Psych Scene reserves the right at any time to change the terms, conditions and notices under which its services are offered, including but not limited to these Terms of Use, by posting such changes online. Your subscription package is for your personal use only. You are not permitted to share your account with or distribute the provided materials to any other party, or use the materials for teaching purposes without Psych Scene’s prior, written permission.
When you register as a subscriber of the Psych Evidence Online Course, you will be asked to select your login details. Your username and password allow you to access your account and log on to areas of the site that are reserved for subscribers only.
You accept that it is your sole responsibility to maintain the confidentiality of your subscriber details and that you are responsible for all activity that occurs under them. You agree to use your subscriber details and to view the materials only in person and to notify Psych Scene immediately of any unauthorized use of your username and password or any other breach of security as soon as you become aware of it.
Any private information that you supply voluntarily as part of the registration & subscription process, will only be used by Psych Scene, our subcontractors, employees, agents and advisors, including legal advisors, as part of the process of administering your subscription. In addition, we may, at our sole discretion, disclose this information to the police, regulatory bodies or any legal advisers in connection with any suspected breach of these Terms of Use, including but not limited to any claim of infringement by you, or otherwise where required by law. Otherwise, this information will be kept private and confidential and will not be passed on to third parties without your consent.
HOLD HARMLESS AND ABSOLVE OF LIABILITY
You agree to hold harmless and absolve of liability Psych Scene and its representatives regarding any content and features of this website. You agree that the shown material cannot be considered as direct consultation or advice for the treatment of any specific patients and that the Psych Evidence Online Course is intended purely as an educational website to be used in order to improve psychiatry research skills.

All copyright, trademarks, service marks and other intellectual property rights in this site (including the design, arrangement, and look and feel) and all material or content supplied as part of the site, shall remain at all times the property of Psych Scene, its affiliates and/or associated businesses. The names, images and logos identifying Psych Scene and any of its products are proprietary marks of Psych Scene, its associated businesses and/or affiliates.
The Psych Evidence Online Course is designed to be technically compatible with third-party software to facilitate easy and convenient viewing. You may not distribute, transmit, broadcast, commercially exploit or modify in any way material or content or permit or assist any third party in doing the same. You may not aggregate, embed or ‘deep-link’ content from the Psych Psych Scene website onto your own website, service or platform for commercial or any other purposes without the prior written consent of Psych Scene.

SUBSCRIPTION AND CANCELLATION
Any subscriber to these Online Courses is required to make a full payment of their chosen subscription package via the offered online payment facility prior to receiving access to the training materials included in that specific package. The subscriber must select the duration and inclusions of their package carefully, as the order is definite once submitted. No refunds are offered for change-of-heart cancellations or purchases processed in error. Right to cancellation may be accepted only in very specific cases, however, no later than 5 days after the start of subscription. Psych Scene may, at its discretion, cancel a subscriber’s account for any reason, including violation of these Terms of Use. Under such circumstances Psych Scene will refund to the account holder a pro-rated portion of their paid subscription fees, rounded to the nearest unused whole month. A cancellation fee of 5% will be deducted from all refund amounts payable, regardless of the reason for cancellation, to cover for the transaction fees charged by the payment facility.
SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
In order to gain the best experience from the Psych Evidence Online Course, we recommend that you access the website using either a desktop or laptop computer. The site can be accessed via mobile devices however; we recommend a big screen experience. The following system characteristics are recommended:
